Hello, world!

I’m excited to share my journey of learning Flutter and how it has transformed my career path. It’s a story of curiosity, challenges, and small wins that keep me motivated to reach my goals. 🚀

How It All Started

In 2024, I decided to dive into Flutter development. The idea of building cross-platform apps with a single codebase fascinated me. Plus, Flutter’s growing demand in the tech industry made it an obvious choice.

But here’s the catch: learning something new always comes with doubts and fears. I kept asking myself:

  • "Will I really be able to build apps on my own?"

  • "What if I fail?"

Despite these thoughts, I took the first step. And that’s what matters the most.

The Fear of Starting

This wasn’t the first time I faced this fear. Back in 2022, I had started learning freelancing. It was an entirely new world for me, but I never fully dived into it because of self-doubt. That experience taught me something important:
💡 It’s okay to feel scared. But the only way forward is through action.

So, when I started Flutter, I promised myself I wouldn’t stop—no matter how challenging it got.

The Turning Point: My Internship 🎯

On September 25, 2024, something incredible happened—I landed my first Flutter internship! 🎉
This was a huge milestone for me. The fact that a company trusted me with their projects boosted my confidence. But along with excitement, there was confusion and fear:

  • How will I manage real-world projects?

  • What if I can’t meet expectations?

Facing the Challenges

An internship is a whole new level compared to personal learning projects. Suddenly, deadlines, client requirements, and teamwork come into the picture. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Here’s how I’ve been handling it:

  1. Breaking Tasks into Smaller Goals: Tackling one feature at a time keeps things manageable.

  2. Asking for Help: Whether it’s my mentor or the Flutter community, there’s no shame in seeking guidance.

  3. Continuous Learning: I dedicate time to mastering state management, animations, and other advanced Flutter concepts.

Looking Back at My Journey

From learning freelancing in 2022 to getting an internship in 2024, my journey has been anything but linear. It’s filled with moments of doubt, but every small step has added up to where I am today. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:

✨ Don’t let fear hold you back. Start, fail, learn, and grow.

What’s Next?

While I’m still navigating my internship, I’m also dreaming of what’s ahead:

  • Building my own apps.

  • Contributing to open-source projects.

  • Maybe even launching my own startup one day!

The possibilities are endless, and I can’t wait to see where Flutter takes me next.

A Message to Fellow Developers

If you’re starting your journey in Flutter or any other tech field, here’s my advice:

  • Don’t compare your progress to others. Everyone’s journey is unique.

  • Celebrate small wins—they’re the stepping stones to bigger achievements.

  • Stay consistent. The magic happens when you show up every day.
